"Don't
be afraid of the unknown or you'll never know anything"
I am from a family of Haitian immigrants but I am the last of many siblings and I always found it hard to stand out. I always loved to see people laugh growing up and I felt like that was my way of making people notice me. However, I really wanted to please my parents so I decided that I can become a doctor. Unfortunately, Organic Chemistry had other plans and I quickly realized that I was going nowhere. In my time alone I turned to my games and I felt that maybe I can do something productive with this passion of gaming and mix it with trying to entertain others.

I
found a You-tube channel called Hyun at which he would animate these stick
figures based off of events or video games and it was the greatest thing I’ve
ever seen in my entire life. I want to go after that and so I turned to the
Media major and so far I like what I am doing and I hope to learn gaming
techniques and animation techniques for the future.
Ultimately,
I want to work in Blizzard either as a storyboard artist or a Character
designer of world of Warcraft, a game I have been playing since I was a child.
I’d like to help it improve and be the greatest RPG this world has ever seen. I’d
also like to animate characters of my own to entertain others, and especially
help people who are going through a tough time, because I believe that laughter
can cure many things.
Honestly,
this isn’t what I saw myself doing 5 years ago, but it’s never too late to find
something you love, and I’m willing to learn and grow and become one of the
greats to do the things I want to do.
